Caulker
According to reports, when/if QPR go down we are in the market for Caulker ...

Why would we go for an ex spurs who will be known as the new Roger Johnson but worse with 2 premier league relegations at 23. Much better centre backs out there.

PS: Sundays game at home ... Winston Reid? Booing him? or 'Sign up Winston, sign up winstoooon'

Re: Caulker
Not gonna boo Reid. He came good after a shaky start. Caulker, a backwards step so no thanks.

Re: Caulker
Just get through this season. We'll finish between 7th and 15th. Then go out and buy 2 centre backs, both better than Reid.

Re: Caulker
We would have been more than happy to wave Reid off at the end of his contract without a thought if he was no good and he is completely entitled to do what he thinks is best given his options.
That's football.
Not to say I wont boo him if he turns up in a Spurs shirt but I boo all Spurs players.

Caulker is relatively young for a centre half but in my considered opinion in his early 20's he has been wildly overpriced and deeply ordinary. He may have improvement in him with experience but have not seen any sign of it.
Far better value abroad.

Re: Caulker
All this talk of Reid being 'very professional' in seeing out his contract is all well and good but let's see if that's still the case if he signs for Spurs on a free.

He is free to do as he wishes but let's cut out the mushy bollocks. Any footballer that leaves on a free is a cunt. They're perfectly entitled to do as they please, but they are a cunt.

That's the official FA ruling.

Re: Caulker
Caulker is average. Reis is good. I wouldn't see this as a replacement but he would do as a stop gap. As others have said his defending sometimes leaves a little to be desired but I do think it a little unfair to rate his play when he is at QPR. They are by far the worst team I have seen defend as a unit. Defence gets fuck all protection.

Re: Caulker
I think Caulker isn't as good as Reid. I hope our replacement is better than Reid.

Also Reid hasn't done anything wrong. For me he's behaving how you should.

Re: Caulker
Caulker is on sixty bags a week. My mate's son is besties with him, he's bought a gaff in Weybridge when he signed for QPR. Apparently the goon dropped their interest in him at Cardiff when they found out he likes a punt.

Re: Caulker
If we buy Kara Mbodj as the rumour goes, we need Tomkins to tie himself to an extended contract and then we still have the mighty Ginge as backup, plus Henry and Burke. That should be enough.

I don't really rate Caulker as it happens. Dunk of Brighton has more class if we really need another CB.

Re: Caulker
I've never really been that impressed with Caulker

Not saying he's completely shit but never really stood out for me as a potentially great centre half

Re: Caulker
Match of the Day did an analysis on Caulker a few weeks ago, during one of their home defeats where he was at fault for every goal. He also didn't track back when needed and his concentration appeared to be non existent. He reminded me of Anton Ferdinand when we lost all those consecutive matches under Pardew.

A massive NO from me.

Re: Caulker
Don't fucking boo Reid. That's just stupid. If there's any doubt in his mind, then that could end up making it up for him.

Re: Caulker
Sorry but I don't rate this bloke,I think we can do a lot better especially if what the two daves have said about there being a lot of money available in the summer.

Re: Caulker
who's saying he can't?

He can sign for who he likes as is his right

and Iif I want to give him shot for who he goes to that;s my right

Im sure he'll be ok with his 60k a week if he gets shouted at a bit the poor little mite!

Re: Caulker
Reid signed a contract and has honoured it. Has been professionl in carrying it out. It ends this summer. He can then do what he wants.

Why are people on here so stupid?
